Las Vegas!

We drove to Las Vegas in our new van to visit Andy's brother Tim and his family. They had their third baby girl named Breanne. We went for the baby blessing. Andy's parents, his sister Robyn, many cousins, and Aunts and Uncles came for the blessing too. It was a family reunion. We had so much fun together. The weather was perfect too.

My Grandma and my Aunt, and my cousins also live in Vegas. We were able to see my Grandma. She passed away just a few hours after we left. She had been really sick for about a month.

Thursday we went to the park and had a picnic and let the kids play. Then Robyn, D, and I went shopping at the outdoor mall. Andy's immediate family went to dinner at Cafe Rio. It was so good. Friday we went to a jump place to let the kids have fun. We didn't get very clear pictures though. Then we went to see the Hoover Dam. They built a new bridge a few years ago. It was really big. The architecture work was amazing. They also built a walk way for people to walk on and look over the bridge. It was kind of scary being so high up. We went to another park and had another picnic. Friday night we went to a buffet at our hotel. It was ok. The hotel we stayed in was so cool. We had an adjoining room with Robyn and D. It was fun for the kids to play. Friday night Robyn, Sue, Bob, and I went shopping again. We got some shoes and a hat. Saturday morning Andy and I went to the Temple and visited with my Grandma, my Aunt Sherrie, and my cousin Michelle and her family. I hadn't seen my cousin in over 16 years. Then we went swimming at our hotel. I don't know why the kids swam. The water was freezing. We thought it might be warm because part of the pool was only 2 inches deep. The adults just visited. Saturday night Andy got sick with the stomach flu. Sunday was the baby blessing. He went to bless the baby and then went back to the hotel. We had a picnic at the park with all the extended family. It was a beautiful day. Everyone went home on Sunday afternoon. We were sad for them to leave. We had a great time visiting.
