Memorial Day!

Monday morning we went to our ward's annual breakfast. The kids played at the park and had so much fun. This was the first time since we have been here on Memorial Day that it hasn't rained. It was 85, sunny and no humidity. It was a great day. We filled up the kiddy pool and the kids played all day. We invited some friends over for dinner too. We had a good day.

Last day of Preschool!

Mrs. Meg is talking about Baylee and what she likes about her. She said she shares really well now. She has grown a lot since the start of school. She is a good listener and is quiet when she is supposed to be. She is really responsible with her hair bows, and Meg loves her personality.

Mrs. Meg asked the children questions throughout the year and wrote down what each one said and put it in a book for the moms to take home. I loved it. It made me laugh so hard. Baylee said she is 3 and her b-day is June 18. She lives in Arkansas, Bella Vista, Arkansas. Her favorite toy is the strawberry shortcake girls from Santa. She likes to wear her skinny jeans. Her favorite song is I am a Child of God.

Questions:
What is transportation? "I have a new van. My dad hurted his knee playing basketball, so now my mom drives us a lot."

How can you serve Jesus? "I can give him my Elmo and give him a Christmas present."

What is your favorite thing about the snow? "I like playing and making a snowman and snowballs and stuff like that, but we didn't have any carrots or buttons for his face but I can use cereal for it and it's better cuz that's what we got."

What do you do when you feel mad or angry? "I can be stubborn."

What are you thankful for? "Going to the store with my Dad and my sister. My house. My dog, Jack. The scriptures.

Funny things:
Mrs. Meg: How are you Jace?
Jace: I miss Chloe, but school is still pretty good.
Baylee:Get up Mrs. Meg.
Mrs. Meg: Why?
Baylee: I want your chair.
Mrs. Meg: But I am sitting here. Can you find another chair?
Baylee (looks around at other empty chairs): Naw, your chair looks best, so get up.

I laughed so hard. But, maybe I need to teach her better manners.

Baylee loved preschool. She learned so much. She made good friends. I am glad she had this experience. Thanks Meg.

29th Birthday!

I can't believe I will be in my 20's for only one more year. That is awful. I still feel like I am 23.
So this picture is awful, but it was the only one we took. If didn't have my girls all day yesterday. It was a great present to have a break for a little while. My friends from church took me out to lunch. It was really fun and thoughtful. I brought my camera, but forgot to take any pictures. For dinner Andy brought home pizza and breadsticks from Papa John's and a B-day cake from Coldstone. It was great to have a night off from cooking. Then after dinnerI went to Young Womens. It was such a fun day. I felt really loved by family and friends. Thanks to a great day everyone.

Oklahoma City

Andy building the bridge.
Baylee playing with sand on a spinning wheel. It was fun to play with. This was her favorite thing she did.

Baylee and her friend Hannah went down this twisty slide about 10 times. They went together and always camp down really funny. I went with Sydney. It was the worst slide ever. For me at least.
This is the place where Andy flooded the floor. Luckily the floor didn't have carpet.
Baylee painting her face. Of course with the green crayon. She is obsessed.

Baylee playing in the house.
Baylee playing in the firehouse.
Sydney playing in the tractor. She loved pushing all the buttons and moving the handles.
Baylee, Hannah, Sydney, and Bella playing in the water.
Thursday afternoon last week we drove to Oklahoma for our Stake fill the temple day. We ate at Texas Roadhouse. Yum! Then went to our hotel and swam. It was a fun night. We woke up early for the 9 am session. Andy was getting dressed and realized that I forgot to pack his suit pants that should be with his suit coat. I felt terrible. He only had shorts and so he couldn't even go in at all. He could of bought some, but we didn't think about it until it was too late. So I hurried and got ready and went. It was good to be there, but I felt bad that we drove all the way there and Andy couldn't go at all.

Afterwards we went out to lunch and then met our friends the Engers at the Science Center Museum. We were going to do the zoo, but it was freezing and really windy and so of course I also forgot long pants and sweatshirts. I normally am prepared, but didn't bother to look at the weather one more time. My brain doesn't work very well when I am pregnant. So we decided to go inside to the museum. The kids had so much fun. Andy did too. He loved it. He is definitely a kid at heart. He built a bridge out of toy wood pieces and then flooded the floor with water because he made such a huge dam. He wanted to go back and do it again. He thought it was funny, but it was a ton of water that flooded onto the floor. Then we went to dinner with our friends to this place called Souper Salad. It was really good. After all we did it turned out to be a fun weekend.

Mother's Day!

So I never took Easter pictures of the girls in their dresses because it was raining. So we took some today. This is not what they wore for Easter, but still looked cute. It was a nice day.

Andy gave me 2 back massages. I got an itunes giftcard, lots of candy, and some decorations. I did make dinner. I wanted to try a new recipe. Trying new recipes always turns out bad for me. I should just stop trying new things and stick to the ones I know. But it sounded good. I made lemon chicken with a sauce and orzo. It sounds tasty, but it was not. Baylee told me, "Mom, I don't think you should make that dinner again." It made me laugh. Andy didn't even eat his chicken. I normally am a pretty good cook, but just not today. He doesn't like lemon in recipes very much. Maybe I should have let Andy make dinner since he offered. Oh well. Next year.

Saturday Afternoon!

Baylee went to a princess birthday party. She was so excited all week. Sydney was hanging out by herself. She is eating a block of cheese. She is too funny. Jack kept trying to get it when she laid it down.

Baylee has not been taking naps regularly now. It is awful. She is so tired. For the last 3 weeks, she has thrown a huge fit everytime we go to Walmart. It is so embarrassing. Everyone always stares at you like you are a terrible mom. I try to get her to sleep she just won't.

Sydney has had an ear infection for the last 3 weeks. It never went away the first round of antibiotics. She is teething and her nose is like a faucet. Her infection won't go away unless her nose stops running. She is also taking allergy medicine too to see if it helps.

Hopefully it will get better soon.
