Pumpkin patch

Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch with Dan and Linsey.  We love spending time with family.  We all had a blast.  The weather was perfect too.  I love the fall.

We first jumped on the giant pillow.  It is even better than a trampoline.  I just can't jump like I used too though.  When Linsey and I did the splits I had to run to the bathroom.  Next we rode the hayride and cow train.  Then we went through the corn maze, played games, and rode slides.  

Camping in the backyard

Last Saturday we decided to have a family camp out.  The girls wrote down on their chalk board the supplies we needed and what they wanted to eat and drink.  They could hardly wait until Friday night.  The girls roasted hot dogs for dinner.  For dessert they wanted s'mores and starbursts.  Dallins dessert was marshmallows.  He ate 4 huge ones and now has eczema all over.  But he enjoyed every bite.  Andy and I decided to do Dutch oven cooking.  I made lasagna and caramel apple crisp.  It was delicious, except I felt so sick afterwards. 

We got the kids ready for bed and they went right to sleep.  Andy and I slept on the air mattress and I didn't sleep a wink.   Of course Dallin and Baylee woke up at 5:40am.  Andy was sweet and let me go back to sleep until 10:00.  He also cleaned everything up for me.  I have to admit camping is not my thing, but willing to create memories with my family.
