Drew William Grover is born!

Wednesday June 25 I took the girls to swim lessons.  I felt nauseous, and just not right.  Later in the day I felt pressure, and lightheadedness.  I wasn't sure if I was having labor.  I kept praying if I should go to the hospital.  I felt like it was the right thing to do.  When I got there they checked me and I was still a 3.  The nurse asked lots of questions and asked Andy if my skin was pale.  I felt really lightheaded and nauseous again.  She decided to start the IV and give me some fluids.  I guess I was dehydrated and felt lots of symptoms because once I had fluid in me I felt much better.  The nurse said we could go home or stay.  Again we felt like we should just stay and get induced since we were already there.  They started the potossin  and epideral that evening.  They also had to give me penicillin for the Group B strep.  It was horrible pain that was way worse than delivering the baby.  I also kept telling Andy that my left hip was in pain.  In the morning I asked him to look at it and also the nurse.  I had a pancake size hive on my hip that was spreading.  Nurses weren't for sure what it was but when my doctor came in to break my water he said to stop the penicillin.  He was right I was allergic to it.  I was at a 4 1/2 cm when my water broke.  Nurses gave me some heavy duty Benadryl for my hives.  I was out cold for a couple hours.  When I woke up I definitely felt pressure.  I was at a 7.  Then five minutes later I felt like he was coming.  I was already at a 10.  Doctor came in and after 3 pushes Drew William Grover was born at 12:03 pm.  It was a special experience.  I felt really anxious with this pregnancy and was so glad he was here and healthy.  He weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.  He was 8 days early and was big.  So glad that we didn't wait another week.  Drew is so sweet.  When the kids came to the hospital they were so excited to see him and hold him.  Dallin came in and said can I see his dark curly hair.  Aunt Linsey had told him about Drew's hair.  Friday we came home and it felt great.  I felt really emotional.  I felt so happy.  I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband that takes such great care of our family and 4 beautiful children.  Can't believe we are a family of 6 now.  It is a huge blessing.  I love my family and especially my Heavenly Father who sent this family to me.
Sydney has the biggest grin.  She was so excited that Drew looks like her.  They both had dark curly hair.

Dallin loved my water bottle.  He acted like he hadn't every had water before.
Dallin loved that Drew had bubbles in his mouth.

Daddy's Helper

Dallin is obbessed with Andy.  If Andy is home he wants to be with him at all times.  They are best buds.  So grateful that Andy is such a loving Dad.

Baylee's turns 7!

Elsa frozen doll was her favorite gift.  She carried it with her all day.

For Baylee's birthday we ate Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast.  Then we went swimming at the pool.  But had to leave earlier because the Directv guy was on his way.  He took forever.  He was here 3 1/2 hours.  I felt bad that Baylee had to wait for him to be done.  For dinner she wanted to eat at chick Fil A  and get frozen yogurt (pretty much just ate the candy and cookies).  Andy was out of town for her birthday so he is making it up to her, and taking her to Kansas City on Friday to a Mariners Baseball game.  She's really excited.

Baylee's Dance Recital

Baylee said she was a little nervous, but she went out on stage and did great.  So proud of her.  They loved watching the other performers dance.  They didn't want to leave.  Dallin and Andy left early for bedtime.  Dallin loved it too.  During one dance the performers were on the floor and so Dallin got on the floor and started following their moves.  He also pointed out the color of their costumes for each performance.  He was very fascinated.  He is too funny and smart.  He asked me during the recital if I liked the high school we were at?  He remembers everything you tell him.

Baylee's Birthday Party!

Missed her blowing out the candles.
Baylee wanted to do the same activities as we did at Sydney's birthday party.  The girls wanted to play outside on the trampoline and swings for a while.  They had a good time.  No one wanted to eat lunch.

Pinata's are less violent now.  On amazon they only sell pull the string kind.  Definitely lame!  But the girls loved it.  They didn't care either way.  Then we decorated mini tiered cakes.  Next they played pop the balloon (tied around ankles).  Then we ate cake and opened presents.  It was such a beautiful day for a party.
