Cousins!

So Clay loves Sydney and always wants to hold her. He says "baby, hold, couch". It is really cute. Clay and Baylee on the other hand hit each other all the time, and I mean all the time. I don't know why they don't get along. But we did get some pictures of them sitting together.

Friends reunion!

Andy was out of town for a few weeks in Chicago so I went to my parents house for that time. It has been fun. We are only 4 hours from Chicago so we decided to go and visit Andy in Chicago so it wasn't so long without seeing him. We left Sunday after church. Andy was supposed to get in at 2:30, but the flight he got on (standby) said the plane was overweight so he and 7 others had to get off. He didn't get in until 7:30 so we decided since we had some extra time, we would go and visit my best friend Britney from High School. We were going to see her the next day, but this worked out better. We had so much fun visiting. Baylee and her little girls had a good time. She is also an excellent hairdresser so she cut my hair while I was there. I haven't seen Britney since her wedding (8 years ago), but it felt like we were best friends still. It will probably be a long time before we see her again. We do catch up every now and then on the phone and facebook. I wish she could have met Andy. I talk about her all the time.

Anyways it was a fun reunion. It was so good to see Andy for the few hours we saw him. You realize how much you adore and love each other when you are apart. It will be nice to have him back again.

Dad's Birthday!

For my Dad's and Mark's birthday we went to Texas Roadhouse. It was really good. It was fun to be here for that.

Baylee fell asleep on her bedroom floor with her church shoes on and her vest. It was so funny, I had to take a picture. I didn't want to take a picture from the front so I didn't wake her up.

1st snow storm of the year!

A couple of weeks ago, Sunday morning we woke up and got all ready for church and got a call around 7:30 asking if we were going to church? We looked out the window and had a couple of inches of snow. A few minutes later they canceled church. It was in the teens all week. It would get warmer in the afternoon and melt some and then freeze at night. They canceled school all week. We got another couple of inches on Wednesday. Andy is shoveling the drive way carrying Baylee on his back. It didn't last long, way too tiring.

Christmas vacation!

Christmas Day!

Baylee had a blast on Christmas morning. She got her "very own" (Baylee's words) digital camera that is kid tough, a purse with makeup, and a cell phone, a puzzle, a book, a dora pop tent, some building blocks, and a princess dress up box. Sydney got some clothes and a few toys. I also got a camera. Our old one took terrible pictures. We had a fun day. It was very relaxing. We had the missionaries over for dinner and then just relaxed some more.

Christmas dresses!

Dan took these cute pictures of the girls. You would be surprised that they were both crying before, during, and after the pictures. Dan's camera does miracles. They turned out great.

Christmas Eve!

On Christmas Eve we went to Pizza Hut for lunch with my parents, and Heather's family. Then we went to see the movie Blindside. It was such a great movie. We had a wonderful dinner and then for our tradition that night at Heathers we put on our nativity while my Dad read from Luke chapter 2. Baylee and Madelyn were angels. Baylee looked so cute. She didn't want to take the costume off. We all got Christmas pajamas. I got razorback pajama bottoms, but they aren't really noticeable. Andy got an arkansas shirt, and mariner bottoms. Baylee got princess ones and slippers. Sydney was already asleep. We got home late. It was a fun night.

When I took her hair out in the morning it looked liked shirley temple. It was really cute, but I decided to put it in pigtails. It was so cute. She did so good letting me put all the curlers in her hair. I had fun doing her hair.
