Ice and snow storm!

On Monday and Tuesday we had a really bad storm. Tuesday we lost our power all day. We decided to adventure out to Mcdonald's for lunch yesterday. It was fun. The roads were terrible. We went to our friends house yesterday while our power was out. On the way to their house we got stuck going up a hill. We had to turn around and go up another hill. Andy got a better start to go faster. We made it. We went a different way home so we didn't get stuck again in the dark. Our power came on last night around 8pm. How blessed we are to have electricity, warm water, a home, cars, food, and clothes. I am a very grateful person, but sometimes I forget to how wonderful it is to have power. I don't think that I could have endured being a pioneer. They were strong men and women.

Baylee!

I love the outfit Baylee has on. She looks so grown up. I tried taking pictures of Baylee with her new bows. This was the best I could do. I think she looks a lot like me.

Homemade bows by Britney!

I have been wanting to buy Baylee fusia bows for some new clothes that I bought her. Well yesterday I went to Hobby Lobby and decided to look for some flowers that I could make bows out of. I found the cutest stuff and they were all 50% off. These are some that I made.

Baylee's rocking chair!

Baylee likes to rock in her chair. She says uh uh uh uh uh until she get what she wants, like sitting in the chair.

Baylee loves to hide in the corner of the TV. She also loves to sit and stand at her table. She loves to read books as well.

She has two toy ice cream cones that she loves. She knows it is a sweet. She came programmed that way. So I decided to buy some real ones. At first she didn't know what to do with it, but she figured it out. The first picture she has a real one and a toy one.

Bath Time with Hannah!

Hannah's mom went into labor and so she came over to play with Baylee. They had fun, but also had a hard time sharing toys. They had fun in the bath tub together. They were in there for about 30 minutes. The water was cold when I took them out. I do Baylee's hair in the bath tub because it is a lot easier. So I did Hannah's too.

Bath Time!

Baylee has been really difficult to get dressed lately. I have had to do her hair while she is taking a bath. She has been hitting, kicking, and biting lately because she doesn't know how to express herself. It has been really fun!!!!! Hopefully this stage doesn't last very long. She has been eating pretty well. She still doesn't like the texture of fruit, but she has been eating applesauce and dried fruit. She likes vegetables and any kind of pasta I make.

It's a girl!

So yesterday we went to have our ultrasound. I was thinking all along that we were having a boy, but I guess I was wrong. The technician said it is a girl. The baby is very healthy and everything looks great. It is always great to hear that so you don't have to worry. We are very excited. It will be fun for Baylee to have a sister close in age. We don't have to buy anything. She can wear and use everything Baylee has, which will be a blessing. We like the name Sydney, but it could change.

For Christmas my mom bought Baylee some books. She loves them. She wants to either sit at the table or on the rocking chair to flip through the pages. It is really cute. She carries them around everywhere. Baylee is also in her cute fleece pajamas that Andy's mom gave her. She loves them because they are so cozy and comfortable.
