Mariners game in Arizona!

Sunday we went to church with Ashley and Taylor. Everyone thought that I was Ashley. They thought we looked exactly alike, which was nice to hear. Everyone in my ward thinks we look nothing alike. It was really fun to trick people. After church we went to Corona to visit Andy's aunt and uncle and cousins. It was fun to get to know them better. Monday we drove to Phoenix. Tuesday Andy had work to do at some stores. For lunch we went to Cafe Rio. I got their salad which was the best thing in the whole world. After lunch I dropped Andy off at his next store and found an outdoor mall. It was so nice. They had everything. Baylee and I had fun. It was about 80 degrees. Then we went to the Mariners season training game. We had fun. We had lawn seats so that Baylee could run around. We didn't stay the whole time, but they did win.

Hollywood and the Beach!

Saturday we drove down to the Hollywood sign and took pictures. I was afraid I was going to fall since we had to climb up to get in front of it. For some reason I was scared of heights that day. Of course the day we go down their it is cold and rainy. We then went to kodak theater where American Idol is performed. We ate at California Pizza Kitchen and then went to Venice Beach. Some of Ashley's friends said it was a good beach, but it had a lot of homeless people around. The kids had fun playing in the sand. Of course they ate the sand and had it all over them. We had a fun day. We were definitely tried at the end of the day. Ashley rented Twilight and her and I watched it. Taylor and Andy fell asleep, but also weren't very interested in watching it again.

Oak Glen

Ashley and Taylor live really close to the mountains. The view is beautiful. This place has some fun shops and a farm with animals. They had goats and lamas. As you can tell from Baylee pointing her finger she was really excited to see the animals. Callie and Baylee had the same shirt on. Callie thought it was fun to look the same.

We are at an outdoor outlet mall and the kids wanted to ride the toys. They had fun. It was such a nice day. We went home and put the kids to bed and Ashley and I cooked the rest of the day for an enrichment activity she had. We cooked sugared almonds, bacon, poppyseed dressing and redvelt cupcakes with a brown sugar cream cheese frosting. It was the best frosting I have ever tasted. We had fun cooking together. She had to provide dinner. She made a spinach salad. It was really yummy.

Trip to California!

Andy, and Baylee and I drove out to Yucaipa, California to visit Ashley and Taylor for a week. Well at least Baylee and I did. Andy had to fly out the next morning after we got their to Chicago for a business trip. He was so tried. Ashley and I had so much fun. We went to 3 malls while I was their. I had fun shopping. The kids probably didn't enjoy it as much as we did. Here is a picture of the three of them in the back. Preston and Baylee had a hard time sitting next to each other. They kept hidding each other and crying when one of them touched the others carseat.

Homemade cinnamon rolls!

There is one thing that I am good at making. That is any kind of bread. I love to bake and cook. It also makes the day go faster when you stay at home.

Baylee playing in the cupboards!

Baylee's new thing is to empty out the cupboard with the rice, sugar, and flour and sit in it. She also puts Jack in with her. One night after Andy got home from work we couldn't find Jack for a few minutes. We looked all over the house. I decided to look in the cupboard and there he was just waiting for someone to let him out. He didn't bark or do anything. It was hilarious. Today she got in and I decided I had to get a picture of her. She sat down and smiled for me. She is so adorable. We can hardly stand it. But she is definitely into everything.

Homemaking lesson for Young Womens

A couple of weeks ago I taught a lesson on homemaking for the Laurels. It was a great lesson. It went very well, especially because I had some great ideas from Robyn and Sue. Thanks. Anyways I made princess crowns for when the girls walked in the room. They really liked them. They wore them the entire time. I made cookies and printed out the recipe card and put them in clear party bags. It was really cute. Then I cut out and put together the little boxes. I was very proud of myself because the only thing I bought were the party bags and they were $1.37. I made everything from home. I didn't know I was so crafty.
